My cousin Jeff Oakley was cetrified by you last week and made me wish I was cetified there instead of here in the states by all the neat places he got to go. I hope to be back this summer and finish where I left off. I would like to learn more, and possible upgrade my certification and do some different types of dives. | Comments: | MY FIRST TIME DIVING!! I joined Sand Dollar Sports on a Discover Scuba Diving tour from my cruise ship when we docked in Cozumel. We booked the tour through the cruise ship and had no idea what to expect. The Tour operators Ricardo and Mike where there to greet all of the cruise ship guests right on the Pier with smiles. The tour moved very quicly to get us to the beach of our destination. Sand Dollar Sports was very professional and we loved it. I just want to say that I enjoyed my experience so much that I know want to get my certfication. It was the most glorious experience. Our group went about 30' down but what we saw was beautiful. Lots of colorful fish and plant life. I can't wait to go again and hopefully get my spouse to join me this time! Have dove in Cozumel previously with Aldora (like the long bottom times)in 2-98 & 7-98 & have enjoyed many of the reefs including Maracaibo. Remembered you from previous stay at Reef Club (2-98) and decided to contact you instead of taking the long ride to Aldora. I like the long bottom times and diving with experienced divers. | Comments: | Kathryn Beck and John Flynn-- This lengthy e-mail is written just to tell you thanks for the excellent diving experiences I had with your shop in May. My wife [a non-diver] and I were there 18-26 May and stayed at the Paradisus. My wife rode along on all the boat trips. We both had a great time. I especially wanted to tell you how much I appreciated your divemaster, Luis. Although I tipped him rather well for the two days [out of 5] that I dove with him, I also wanted you to know how professional and attentive he was. He was head and shoulders above most divemasters I have had in Cozumel. Below is a lengthy trip report that I wrote and placed on the Rodale's Message Board. As a result of the posting, I have recommended your shop to several divers. I'm sure they will receive the same professional treatment and have the same great experiences we had. Feel free to use it in any way you might find helpful. Again, thanks for the great time. When we are back in Cozumel we will certainly make our diving arrangements with you.

In particular, we want to thank Pedro (who took our referral letter and gave us our 4 certification dives) and Luis (who gave us a great guided tour at Chankanaab). In all, we completed 7 dives with SDS this past week and are now officially hooked on diving! Eduardo was our SDS leader when we dove with the dophins at Chankanaab (another awesome experience). I was lucky enough to be back with them diving, my second time within the year.... special thanks for that goes to Joanne Deck with Diver's Supply in Macon, Georgia for helping to set it up. | Comments: | My friends and I really enjoyed diving with Sand Dollar Sports in Cozumel. For most of the group, it was the first time to Cozumel. They were impressed as much by the friendliness and service of their staff as they were by the great diving. Our divemaster, Victor ( I didn't get his full name ), did a great job of showing the best parts of the reefs and making the first timers comfortable with drift diving. They made us feel right at home as as they scheduled our dives. They greeted us with a friendliness that set the tone for our trip. The group also was impressed with having a boat to ourselves each dive. It is another reflection of the personal attention we received. I will definitely recommend Sand Dollar to anyone coming to Cozumel, Mexico, and consider their staff among the best I have encountered on the island. Thanks for a great week. . .

| Comments: | The first thing I want to do is thank Sand Dollar Sports in Cozumel, Mexico for all of their help when we dove with them. I can't tell you the compliments Sand Dollar Sports received! The divers thought they were the absolute BEST! They were so wonderful to keep up with the diving maniacs. I'm so thrilled to finally be certified and now can't wait to get back so that I can really start learning. Someone said to me, "So, now you're a real diver!" I told them I wouldn't go that far, but that now I at least feel like I'm in a position to become one! I still can't get over how totally awesome (I'll borrow that word from my kids) it was. As you know, there are just no words to explain it. Nor are there words to truly express my appreciation. Not only for the diving, but for being so helpful, understanding (and patient).
