Click here to add your comments.. | Comments: | Our group spent December 13-21, 2002 with the Reef Club and Sand Dollar. Abraham was far and away the best divemaster we've ever had. He got the respect he deserves, plus a little fun on the side. Jon says "Thanks again for the piggy-back ride" (forgot his fins) on our night dive. We all loved the convenience of the location to all dive sites within 2-15 minutes vs. 45 from downtown. We all intend to be back the same time next year. Thanks again Abraham and Alex.

Well I just wanted to take a second to compliment you and your staff for operating the best dive company I have ever dived with. I have done lots of dives with other dive companies but none have compared to yours. The service and friendliness as well as the knowledge of your employees is outstanding. There is one of your employees that needs special recognition. That is Julio who was my Dive Master. He is seriously the best Dive Master I have ever dived with, his technique and knowledge and personality I believe make him a huge asset to your company. I have lots of friends who dive and we recommend trips to each other and mainly because of Julio I will recommend them to your company with Julio’s name. | Comments: | Sand Dollar Sports. We flew out on the 14th June feeling very nervous and scared to do our PADI course, but not only that, we all are deaf and thought this would cause some difficulties. When we first met our instructors, we were so pleased because they seemed so friendly, and confident to work with us knowing that the communication would be relayed via our interpreter and this would take longer than any other person coming to the centre to learn scuba diving. They picked up sign language faster than any other person we have met and were so keen to learn the basics (even though they didn't have to as we got an interpreter). We passed our PADI course with flying colours, all of this is because of the Sand Dollar Sports instructors making the course fun and memorable. Many thanks for all your hard work. We will recommending Scuba diving to all our deaf friends and to do it at Sand Dollar Sports.

| Comments: | I just returned from a cruise w/Sea Princess to the Panama Canal, Atlantic Side. We stopped at Cozumel. I signed on for you 2 tank drift dive on Palm Sunday. I also dove with your same crew last Thanksgiving. You guys are the best. Keep up the great service. The day before I dove at Grand Cayman with Foster's Dive shop. We had to do everything from setting up the weight belts and our own tanks. The 2nd tank I went to set up on and it took me 3 tanks to find a filled one. The excuse "people think they are doing us a favor and place the caps back on the tanks". Boooo. If I recollect, I dove with Rodrigius (spelling wrong). He was viligiant, caring, helpful as my last dive with him. Please pass on my compliments to them all. | Comments: | Hello to everyone at Sand Dollar Sports: I am now back in Wisconsin, having returned to a snow storm. Would much rather be in sunny and warm Cozumel. This past week, we (my wife, Celeste, and I and some friends) stayed at the Reef Club Cozumel (where my wife and I have a time share). We dove with Sand Dollar Sports. While for my wife and I it was our fifth trip to Cozumel, it was our first time diving with Sand Dollar Sports. Of the five different dive operators I have dove with in Cozumel, I think that Sand Dollar Sports did a wonderful job. The divemasters were all quite conscientious and did a very good job of dive briefings and leading the dives. I have absolutely no complaints nor criticisms about the divemasters nor the dive operation. We will definately return to Cozumel many times in the upcoming years, and will now always dive with Sand Dollar Sports. One suggestion I would make, however, is that the dive boats have two rinse tanks, one for dive masks and a different one only for dive cameras. The one rinse tank on the boat was used by divers for their masks, with no apparent regard for any cameras in them, and some cameras got banged a bit (as well as the mask drops are not good for the camera lense). After I saw how some divers were banging and being a bit rough on the cameras in the tanks, I kept my camera out of the tank and cleaned it when I got back to my room. I would suggest that if you do have two rinse tanks, that they be clearly marked and the divemasters make note to the divers which tanks to use for which purpose. Thank you for listening to this suggestion. Upon my returning to Wisconsin, I have already told several people about the diving and Sand Dollar Sports as a dive operation. I have highly recommended your dive operation to the people that I know. Again, thank you for a wonderful time and experience. I am looking forward to when I can return and dive with you all again.

Your staff was very professional, helpful and made the entire dive trip worth much more than we had to pay!!! Victor provided instruction based on the experience level of our group and was very thorough. Everyone in our group commented about how organized the crew on the boat was and the attention they gave to insuring our trip was the best! The videotape that we were able to purchase from Gustavo seemed expensive at first hearing it was $55.00, but after viewing the tape we knew we couldn't pass it up.
